It was Elle's turn to take the preschool field trip to the Aquatic Center. She had so much fun running around and exploring. The sting rays were even being friendly but I couldn't convince Elle to touch any of them, I guess the way they flopped up out of the water on the side of the tank made her a tad nervous.
After the field trip it was on to meet my good friend Jen and her hubby + two girls in a parking lot to pick out paint colors. I've had the chance to pick colors for her several times and they decided to consult me in spite of our lack of time to properly get together. It was fun to see her husband Jim, pull out a floor tile, the curtains, some wall decorations, two cabinet samples, pillows and a laptop to show me the layout of the room. We had all of this splayed out on the hood of their car. They joked with me that if someone wanted an appointment with me they would refer them to the parking lot of the South town mall, in a van, down by the river! ha ha. Here's a quick picture of the girls waiting for us. There was a great little area right off the side of the parking lot, looks like we're in some remote location, but we definitely were not.
I also had the chance to attend Women's Conference at the Conference Center in downtown SLC. We were on the seventh row. Here's the best picture I could get! It was amazing to be so close to President Monson and hear the great talks. The Choir of course was amazing as always! It was definitely an experience I'll never forget.
