Weekly Update

I've had a Birthday shout Hooray! They'd like to sing to me today! One year older and happier too! ...It was back on Valentines Day and by tomorrow it's already my sweet-heart's Birthday. A Sam related post will be soon to follow....

So, my birthday was a great day. I woke up to the kids cleaning the kitchen, they had hung streamers on my door like I do for them and put streamers up all around the house. Very sweet I thought. I later went to lunch with a few great friends. Cafe Rio- yumm! Here I am laughing at our lame (or should I say awesome) attempt at candles. We don't have birthday candles but we do have sparklers?! It was tough to get them simultaneously lit!

Later in the day I stopped by the bigger kids' parties. Audrey's class was dancing the Marguerena, Elle came home looking sweet as can be with her Valentine's box.

Reese's class got in a little Limbo- ing and other game playing. Sam and I fed the kids an early dinner, had the Red Velvet cake with them and then went out to a fun Greek Restaurant for our own little Valentine/Birthday date. It was a great day in which I felt very loved.

Other happenings so far in the month of Feb include Reese surveying over 100 kids for his science project. A general household obsession with moustaches (Sam's the numero uno obsess-or ) and all things Spy. Elle and Audrey both now have some roller blades we found at DI - been a great investment, and I found a new pair of shoes to love! That's it for now!
