Oh Those Sweaters!

This was a new event this year - one that apparently is all the rage now-a-days. The ugly sweater party. Yup, that's right. The party that celebrates all those awkward holiday sweaters and turtlenecks... and all things awesome.
I was accused of not trying hard enough on my get-up but I will say that my sweater and scotty-dog turtle neck were rightfully purchased at the D.I. (our local version of Goodwill), and it is definitely hit and miss. We went a few days after I found mine, for Audrey, and she found a Doosie! She then chose to wear it "for realz" on Christmas Eve here at home. So you'll see it pictured in that post. The party was all in good fun, and Audrey along with her friends were instrumental in the adults enjoying themselves. They took all 24 kids to our friend Kate's house ( Kate also attended the party ) and entertained all the children for hours. It was magical!
Some of the highlight gifts of the night included a bumpit (hair accessory) , a whole chicken in a can, a country music themed excersize video, and other honorable mentions.... It was a good time, lots of people, lots of food and a bunch o' fun.

It was so fun! Thanks so much for the great time. Could you send me the pics from this party?

All your Christmas posts have been great. Audry looked beautiful in the Nutcracker, as always! Fun fun times and a fun family you have, Kim!
