Well, due to the fact that I have a husband who travels often, I don't have my picture software uploaded. I guess I could give it a go but with a new (long-awaited) computer involved I'm just a little wary that I'll mess something up. So, on with a phone-picture post! St. Patty's came and went. I plan on doing a proper post on that with pictures from my camera- but a good day it was and the kids were oh-so-happy to get these little leprechaun gifts (thanks to the dollar store!).
Some of you may or may not be aware that I've been able to do some work involving various local film projects, commercials, etc. This was a little snap on a recent Saturday where we were filming a web-commercial for a new book being published.
It was this guy's job to time us as we rode the escalator. To be paid on a Sat morning to ride an escalator for a few hours didn't seem like too bad a gig to me!
Laura and I recently helped our uncle Howard in prepping Grandma's condo for it's upcoming sale. This was a great experience and we were able to pick some things to keep that are especially meaningful. This process has been much more comfortable with Grandma doing well at her assisted living facility rather than doing it after she's passed away someday - It made for a much more light-hearted experience. No one wants to tackle that type of task while grieving. Anyway, here's Grandma's amazing pool cover up - sewn out of towels by our Aunt Brenda. We both wanted it, but Laura ended up with the prize, which was OK by me. Besides, I have Grandma's lime green terry cloth jumper with the neon yellow zipper for going to the pool in, so I can't complain.
Sam has introduced me to the best Sushi restaurant in town. It's called the Red Ginger, and all their sushi is half-price, all the time - and delicious! I swung by one day to grab this for lunch - it's two different rolls - total price out the door = 5.39 !! For any of you who eat sushi, you know how incredibly cheap that is! You can't even buy the ingredients for that. Anyway, it's been a recent highlight for me so I thought I'd include it. So yummy.
I've discovered that on my phone, I by far have the most pictures of Elle since she's the one who's still home with me during the day. Here she is helping me make some St. Patty's Day cupcakes.
She's also taken to wearing these old 3d glasses with the lenses popped out. I think it's pretty funny and quite cute. She can be my little hipster - deeply contemplating world issues of today.
The first day of soccer practice was this week. Also, Grandpa Tony stopped by on his way to AZ bringing candy and gifts. ( Hooray! Thank you! ) Tony went to soccer with Reese and said his neon socks were the best way to spot him on the field - which is exactly why they were purchased. I thought they'd do the trick for keeping track of him from across the street. We live just a corner away from the Field. The kids have been enjoying the weather just starting to warm up enough to be outside. I've even been stealing Audrey's longboard for quick ( I'm a little embarrassed to admit ) bare-footed rides around the neighborhood. We LOVE spring!!
Here's the girls, using our neighbor's basketball hoop - Elle trying to shoo Reese away from nipping at her from below. He loves to tease, especially when his target is for the most part immobilized and out of swatting distance.

Fun fun post! Where is that sushi place? Lots of adventures for your fam! Dillon still has to do our taxes too :(. Yuck. I used to do them until he started his business, but now he does, which is nice for me though!
This is a great up-date and the photo of Laura is a blog in itself. I want to see you in the lime green jumper though. I will watch for you on t.v.- but not in the jumper....
