Lazing about

Our Church has changed from getting out at 4:00 to now @ 12 noon. Needless to say, we have many more hours ( Or at least it feels like it, I guess there's always the same # of hours in every day... ;) to fill in the afternoon. I thought I'd just do a quickie post on things around the house. First things first though, on the way home from church I saw this:

We've had a whole bunch of Canadian Geese around here lately. I don't know if we're some sort of pit stop for them or what, but they sure are pretty.

Today, Elle was back on her Annie kick (if she was ever off of it) and she wanted her hair up so that her curls would be messy like Annie's. She also requested my assistance in acquiring some freckles. I of course obliged, with the freckles and some choc-chip cookies as seen on her lips!

Plenty of time to play with her new buddy.
Some Valentine's decorations have begun to find their way around our house. Nothing fancy but they're getting me excited for my Birthday!

The cookies were a hit, they were actually oatmeal, butterscotch, choc-chip, and walnut. Sundays we always seem to get a pretty bad sweet-tooth so this week, these were the answer.
Also, on Saturday, Audrey's dance school held their auditions for the upcoming performance of Cinderella. I was lucky enough to be on the judging panel, not as someone with any power but just there to give my input and observations of the girls and their stage presence etc...
Audrey was so excited and relieved to get the part she'd hoped for. She'll be dancing the part of the Spring Fairy. She's especially excited because she gets have her own group of "raindrops" - other dancers who will dance around her. We're so proud of you honey, and we can't wait to see you dancing beautifully as the Spring Fairy!
Happy Sunday Everybody, best wishes for a great week ahead.

Hooray for the return of Kim-blog-viewing-compatibility to my computer! First thing I've noticed: you camera rocks. I need to upgrade. Second, you guys do such fun things together. You are truly and inspiration for family fun. And there's a truth about Sundays: I will always feel like baking something sweet, so if you ever want to co-op, just let me know!
