Oh Boy, saved by your cowlick!

All to ride this...

I regret to say that when faced with riding this, I chickened out. Now that I'm a safe distance away I can say that I'm disappointed in myself for not riding it. DON'T you JUDGE me! You didn't hear the people screaming for their very lives... None the less, it went down in the books as a radical Father/Son thing, and they have me to thank.

I love the look on the kids face in the background of Sam's picture. I'm pretty sure he's thinking something along the lines of.. You crazy!

Argh! And Oh how I love Cinderella's iconic dress!

Argh again! Oops, put it in two collages, oh well, the ride was great fun

Quotes of the Day

As I was braiding Audrey's hair this morning, she was quietly watching in the mirror. When I had one braid almost done, she said in her best announcer voice, " And thus, the braid is formed." Silly girl, she cracked me up so much I was cry-laughing
Kid's stuff: Elle, Sun Scream = sun screen Reese talking about the wake behind the boat- " I hope I don't get stuck in the quake"
During our trip to Colorado, Elle started dancing to the music as best she could in her carseat, she kept saying, look guys, check out this bust out move... It was pretty cute.
At dinner, I was mentioning that I had a sore hamstring. Reese heard this and said, a what? a meatstring? When we corrected him (holding in our amusement..he's sensitve) he then said, oh I know why bears and tigers like to eat people, cause they're made of ham!
Today when I was taking the kids to school, I had on a black coat of mine with a big oversized collar, I didn't bother to fold it down and when Reese saw me he said, "Cool Mom, you look like an evil genius." I like the way the boy thinks.
So this one is for Sam, and it's more what he did than what he said... When we were going to Moab a few weeks ago, I asked him to throw some socks in the suitcase for me. When we got there I realized he had done just that, thrown in a pile of random socks. I asked him what's with this? He said, well I figured you'd at least have a couple matches in there somewhere. Now, most of you guys might be thinking, yeah, that makes sense... and you ladies, well I know what you're probably thinking.. Sorry honey... you know I love you!
Elle told me she didn't want me to get married, I told her "I already am" she cried and said " No! because then you have to be a princess!" I think she thought if I was married I would go away and live in a castle somewhere. Too bad that one's not true.
Today Reese said, Mom, I think I want to be a millionaire except I don't want to live in a Hotel. I said, why would you live in a Hotel, and he said because all millionaires live in hotels, right? I said, no actually those are just their really big houses.
Audrey will get to be Clara in the nutcracker this year, the day she found out, she was running around the house chanting, "I'm awesome, I'm awesome," Glad to know we've raised modest children!
We were sitting in the car, again we seem to drive around a lot, and Elle said," Hey Everybody! I want wings!" I said to fly with? and she said "Yup."
The other day we were in the car talking about ancestors, and Reese said "hey, don't we have anbrothers?"
